Jimmy Fallon Shows Off His In-House Slide During Self-Isolation

March 22, 2020

While Jimmy Fallon quarantines at his home, he is trying to do so in a creative way.

The “Tonight Show” host has been hosting an at-home edition of his late show, which has suspended production during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During his segments, which he posts on YouTube, the host showcases daily things he and his family do while social distancing. He also continues to perform sketches that he usually does during his show.

There is something unique that Fallon does when he ends each episode: he uses the slide in his house that goes from one floor to another.

Each episode has featured his daughters, and it’s been a full-on family affair as the Fallon clan steps in to help Jimmy put together the show.

His daughter, Winnie, provided the music in place of The Roots and also took on being in charge of the graphics department.

His wife, Nancy, has been filling in for the camera crew, and his other daughter, Frances, as been seen crawling on her father’s head while snuggling him.

Fans are loving every moment of this and even offered up a new title: “The Winnie and Frannie show, with guest Jimmy Fallon.”

The comedian is also cracking a couple of jokes and then asking his daughters if he is funny. His daughters seem to be indifferent.

So far, Fallon has had Lin Manuel Miranda, Jennifer Garner, and J Balvin on his makeshift show.

“The Tonight Show” is just one of several late-night shows to suspend production through the end of March. “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Late Night With Seth Meyers” have both suspended production along with daytime talk shows like “The Wendy Williams Show, “Today,” “Good Morning America,” and game shows, “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune.”
